CHOG 2nd Floor Imaging Renovations

This Award-Winning Renovation of the Children’s Healthcare Building at AUMC involved updating an existing Pediatric Radiology Suite. A new main waiting room includes safari animal imagery and an interactive screen wall to keep children calm and distracted during their wait. A new corridor is lined with semi-open sub-waiting rooms that each have color-changing LED fixtures that oscillate between colors. The radiology rooms are state of the art with Phillips Digital Radiology Equipment, lighting, casework, and finishes upgrades. Overall, the design focuses on patient-centered care and child comfort.
